Meet Our Team

  • Caity Strong is passionate about creating a nurturing and faith-filled environment for young children and their families. As the co-director of Good Shepherd Preschool, she is dedicated to developing a thriving preschool parent co-op, not only to serve the community but also as a place for her own daughter to grow and learn. She believes that early childhood education flourishes in a supportive community where parents and teachers partner together to cultivate a love for learning, play, and faith.

In addition to her role at the preschool, Caity serves as the Children's Ministry Director at Good Shepherd Church, where she strives to create a fun and engaging space for kids to encounter Jesus.

Caity and her husband Kyle are parents to their lively daughter, Charlotte. When she is not leading at the preschool or in children's ministry, she enjoys playing keyboard, singing, and hiking with her family.

  • Josephine Flowers has a deep passion for working with young children, starting as a neighborhood babysitter in her teens. She later pursued higher education in early childhood development, counseling psychology, and Bible Theology, which helped her become the compassionate teacher she is today.

With over 15 years of experience teaching preschool and 16 years in Kindergarten at Christian schools, along with involvement in Children’s Ministries, Mrs. Flowers is dedicated to her calling. As co-director and teacher at Good Shepherd Preschool, she values the importance of family involvement in early Christian education. She believes the relationship between teacher and parent is vital to raising children in a loving, Christ-centered environment. Mrs. Flowers strives to make Good Shepherd Preschool a fun and nurturing “home-away-from-home” for children ages 2-5.

Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her 4 sons and 5 grandchildren, attending Bible studies, working out, and playing word games. Her retired husband, of 19 years, brings humor and companionship as they enjoy home projects, yard work, and bike rides together.
